This beautiful coastline curves from Manly to Palm Beach, a popular destination for fans of TV soap Home and Away. Enjoy the casual ambience and natural beauty of the Northern Beaches, one of Australia’s most famous surfing meccas. From Manly to Palm Beach the coastal neighbourhoods epitomise quintessential Aussie beach towns. Boasting a string of popular surfing beaches. You’ll find deliciously enticing places to eat and drink, too.

On the western Pittwater foreshore is Australia’s second-oldest national park, Ku-ring-gai Chase, where the Red Hands Cave walking track meanders to ancient Aboriginal ochre hand paintings. A lovely way to get to the park is on a Palm Beach ferry across the Pittwater, alighting at the Basin.

All within easy drive to Sydney’s CBD, this part of Sydney is a lifestyle destination for those who love to live by the tide.

Ocean Pool

Located at the southern end of Palm Beach on the Pacific Ocean, the ocean pool offers a refreshing alternative to swimming in the Ocean or Pittwater.

Barrenjoey Lighthouse Walk

Barrenjoey Lighthouse sits proudly above north Palm Beach. It is the most Northerly point of Sydney. Surrounded by national parkland there are two beautiful walks to the lighthouse, the Smugglers Track being the more adventurous walk. Both walks are not too long and a great walk for children. Once you have reached the top, the 360degree panoramic views are breathtaking.
